“When I was studying Design at the Royal College of Art I used to get the No. 73 Bus to Kensington via Knightsbridge and would always try to sit in the front seat on the top deck - the best view of London! On the old Routemaster buses there was a clever window that you could lower by turning an elegantly cast winder that always appealed to me and in due course became the inspiration for my Spheres S&P mills which were originally cast from Sheffield Pewter in the early 1990s - good times in two of my favourite cities!”
